Merry Christmas
I'm heading back to Australia for Christmas and New Year's Eve, and am looking forward to the hot weather (though I may change my mind when I arrive). I don't know if I'll update while I'm away, but anyway, have a great holiday season and a happy new year!

How was it? I heard the weather there was downright disgusting.
Hi Cat! It was a great holiday... I was very busy catching up with everyone - so many bbqs, I think I've sated my meat cravings for a few months. It was hot, but I spent a lot of time on Stradbroke or down the Coast, where the sea breeze makes it ok. There were a couple of "sweat-while-you're-sitting-down" days in Brisbane, but you get by with fans, cold beers, and three showers a day ;)
